LEGO® Education WeDo

Hosted by Reeds School in association with BECSLink and supported by the Tim Henman Foundation.

A half-day session to be led through a Science and Engineering activity by our LEGO® Professional Trainer. The activity will focus on designing and creating a WeDo working model leading on to programming the model’s movements as part of a story. LEGO® Education WeDo kit is a fantastic, simple-to-use tool that enables the children to learn, construct and then bring their models to life. These in turn help with communication, collaboration and team building skills. WeDo helps teach how technology plays an active role in the students’ everyday life and incorporates subjects such as Computing, Science, Social Studies, Language, Technology and Engineering.

30 children take part in each half day session, 8 schools take part over the two days reaching 60 children on each day.
